Do visit the Padi Sri Iguthappa swamy temple located 6km from our homestay in Coorg, the home of a deity that holds a place in every Kodava's heart. No festival in Coorg is complete without a visit to the temple and the delectable, wholesome temple food provided to all pilgrims!

For those who want to get a taste of adventure but don't want to trek Tadiandamol, visit Kabbe instead! Kabbe is a short 14km drive from King's Cottage, and is a 3-4 hour trek in total that's easy-moderate depending on fitness levels. Do carry sufficient hydration and food enroute. And on the way to the viewpoint, you can also stop at Chelavara falls for some relaxing fun!

The birthplace of the Cauvery river, one of the most integral lifelines for the entire state of Karnataka, lies in Coorg. Talacauvery is a sanctum constructed around the reservoir where the cauvery is said to have originated, and this too is a must-visit for its views and the temple itself.
